18 Feb 08, Here is an opportunity for you to be involved in the glorious game of cricket as an official !  Get the best seat in the stadium, be in the thick of things and above all, be the one conducting the game on the field !

SCA will be conducting a Basic Umpiring Course from 24th to 29th March 2008.

Course Presenters: Sarika Prasad (on the ICC Associates & Affiliates panel and one of the Umpires in the Under-19 World Cup 2008), Sri Ganesh (ACC Accredited), M.V. Ramesh (ACC Accredited)

Venue: Singapore Cricket Association, No 31, Stadium Crescent, Singapore 397639

Time:  7.00 pm to 9.30 pm (Monday to Friday), 9.00 am to 1.00 pm (Saturday)

Course fee: Adults S$ 50/- each, Students S$ 30/- each

Course materials and working  dinner  will be provided during course days.   Participation certificates will be issued for all participants.

If you are an ardent Cricket Lover, an active player, or played in the past but still love to be involved in the game, make use of this opportunity and enroll yourself immediately for the course.  We have 1000+ matches to be played in the Singapore in 2008 and you will be provided with ample opportunities to officiate in as many games as possible to put to practice what you have learnt in the course.
